XR Group Wins Two Awards at IEEE VR 2026

Two papers from the XR Group have received a Best Paper Award and an Honorable Mention at IEEE VR 2026.

A paper by our alumnus Takahiro Okamoto and PhD student Masaki Takeuchi (in collaboration with Associate Professor Masataka Sawayama from Hokkaido University) received the Best Paper Award, while a paper by M2 student Kotaro Fujimura and PhD students Hiroki Kusuyama and Masaki Takeuchi received the Honorable Mention Award.
